Two ways to list

Selling one boat, or a whole fleet?

The listing is the same either way — full spec ledger, open price history, enquiries direct. What differs is how many boats you carry and what the dashboard gives you.

Private seller

Selling your own boat

One hull, no brokerage behind it. Publish it yourself in an evening and field the enquiries direct.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Email address and a password. No card until you want a second boat listed.

  2. 02

    Build the listing

Photos, dimensions, machinery, tankage, rig, registration and VAT status — the wizard asks for what a surveyor would.

  3. 03

    Set your asking price

It is recorded from day one, so any reduction you make later reads as a real, dated reduction rather than a claim.

  4. 04

    Take enquiries

They land in your inbox with the buyer’s message and the boat attached. You deal with the buyer; we never step into the sale.

Broker or dealer

Running a brokerage

A fleet, a team and clients who judge you by the platform you put them on. Flat monthly subscription, no per-listing surcharges.

  • A verified seal on every listing once your brokerage is KYC’d — kept visibly separate from paid placement.
  • A public broker profile carrying your whole inventory, linked from every boat you list.
  • Enquiry inbox and listing analytics — who looked, what they asked, which boats are stalling.
  • Featured slots on the higher tier, marked as promotion so buyers always know what they are looking at.

On every listing, every tier

The things buyers actually decide on

Spec ledger

Dimensions, rig, hull, machinery, registration and tax, set as a survey document rather than icon soup.

Open price history

Every change dated and shown. It is what makes your reduction believable when you make one.

Plotted on the chart

Your boat pinned at the marina she actually lies in, with local conditions alongside.

Direct enquiries

The buyer’s message comes to you. No lead resale, no middleman, no commission.

Questions

Before you list

What does it cost to sell a boat here?
A private seller lists one boat free and pays nothing on the sale. Brokers pay a flat monthly subscription for a larger inventory and the dashboard tools. presailed never takes a commission, and a buyer is never charged to enquire.
Do you take a commission when the boat sells?
No. The sale closes between you and the buyer, offline, exactly as it would through your own brokerage. presailed is a marketplace, not a broker, and never handles the money.
Why is my price history public?
Because it is the single thing buyers in this market say they want and almost never get. A published, dated price history is also what lets a genuine reduction land as a fact rather than as a sales line — it works in your favour the moment you drop the asking price.
What is the verified seal, and can I buy it?
No. The seal means a brokerage has been through KYC. It is deliberately kept separate from featured placement, which is paid and is always labelled as such — conflating the two is how the incumbent sites lost their buyers’ trust.
Can I import my existing inventory?
Brokers on a subscription can load a fleet rather than typing one boat at a time. Talk to us about the format you already export and we will meet it.
What happens when the boat sells?
Mark her sold from the dashboard. The listing stops appearing in results and is no longer contactable, but the page itself stays honest rather than vanishing — a boat that quietly disappears is indistinguishable from a listing that was pulled.
